What is the difference between DRaaS and backup?

Backup stores copies of your data; DRaaS recovers your running systems. DRaaS replicates whole workloads and orchestrates failover so services come back within a target time, in the right order — not just the data, but the environment that runs it.

What RTO and RPO can we achieve?

It depends on the recovery pattern you choose per workload. Warm standby and active-active designs can deliver RTO in minutes and RPO in seconds; more cost-efficient patterns like pilot light trade a longer RTO for lower cost. We set and prove these per tier.

How do we know it will actually work in a real disaster?

Because we test it. Scheduled, non-disruptive DR drills measure your actual recovery against target, and every drill produces evidence and improvement actions — so recovery is proven, not assumed.

Does DRaaS protect us against ransomware?

Yes. We design immutable, isolated recovery copies and clean-room recovery so you can restore to a known-good point that the attacker cannot reach or encrypt, reducing both downtime and the pressure to pay.

Will our recovery data stay in the UAE / GCC?

Yes. Replication targets are placed in the required in-region AWS or Azure locations so regulated data stays within the correct jurisdiction even during a disaster.

Do you run the recovery for us or just provide the tooling?

Both models are available. Many clients take the fully managed option with 24/7 activation and expert-led recovery support, while others prefer we design and test it and their team executes with our backing.
